"Second Annual Innovation in Services Conference:  The Service of Healthcare" to be held

Kaiser Permanente joins the Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Science in sponsoring the Innovation in Services Conference, September 17-18, 2008. The event takes place at the UC Berkeley International House and nearby Berkeley City Club.

The theme for the 2008 conference is “The Service of Health Care”. You will hear from Kaiser Permanente representatives and other notable health care experts, who will speak about scalable solutions for improving the service of health care. Topics of discussion will range from telemedicine and personal health records to facilities design, service engineering and other new frontiers in service innovation and research.

This conference is designed for a broad audience that includes health care providers, insurers and health care payers, health services researchers, government organizations, and students.
