Laura Tollen is senior editor at Health Affairs. Previously, Tollen was a senior consultant with the Kaiser Permanente Institute for Health Policy.
Tollen has also served as project director at the Institute for Health Policy Solutions, an independent policy think tank. She is the author of numerous journal articles and served as coeditor, with Alain Enthoven, of Toward a 21st Century Health System: The Contributions and Promise of Prepaid Group Practice.
Tollen holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
