Lorena Roth oversees strategic programs related to mental health and addiction care across all Kaiser Permanente markets aimed at improving outcomes and experience of care for Kaiser Permanente’s members, particularly those related to the clinical operations of specialty mental health and addiction medicine. Her portfolio includes workstreams related to the use of measurement-based care in outpatient settings, suicide prevention, and workforce development, including professional identity and practice to support our frontline mental health clinicians. She also serves on Kaiser Permanente’s National Mental Health, Wellness and Addiction Care leadership team. She is an LCSW by training and has over 24 years of experience working with children and families in clinical practice focused on Spanish speaking patients. She is a native of Chile and enjoys travel, cooking and living in Northern CA where she hikes on local trails.
