Muriel LaMois provides support on projects to the communications manager and policy consultants at the Institute for Health Policy. Prior to this role, Muriel worked as a project manager for the Institute for Health Policy and as chief of staff for a state delegate in the Virginia General Assembly.
Muriel is currently studying health policy and management at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health, where she is excepted to receive her Master in Public Health in May 2019. During her time at Berkeley, Muriel has worked as a quality analyst intern at Covered California and as a graduate student researcher at the Berkeley Center for Health Technology. Muriel is interested in policy areas impacting access to and affordability of health care including payment reform, drug pricing, and quality improvement.
