The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine recently released a new report, Ending Unequal Treatment, on racial and ethnic health care disparities in the United States. During an in-person forum report contributors will highlight themes from the report related to the future of health care delivery and education. The session will address:
- The current state of health disparities in the United States
- Promising approaches to reduce health disparities through health care delivery and education, including quality measurement and workforce approaches
- Implications for medical education and emerging clinicians
- Related public policies that could reduce health disparities and promote health equity
This event will be held at the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine in Pasadena, CA in Flex Classroom B. Only registrants will be permitted inside the building for security purposes.
